They were 100 feet away on an island. A little way down the road some guy got out of his car to photograph one on the side of the road. Must have been the bull since it started to move toward him. Well Duh, he was wearing a gator green shirt.
The females pretty much ignore you unless have a nest. This time of year best to keep your distance though.
